Police continue investigation of missing Erwin file

As police continued an investigation Thursday into the possible theft of a confidential file from the St. Charles school district, the superintendent pledged to review internal procedures so employees “can feel safe” their personal information is closely guarded...

Schlomann said Spahr’s resignation was unrelated to the file’s disappearance.

Police, meanwhile, continued an investigation that includes interviews with district employees.

Police spokesman Paul McCurtain said he did not know whether Erwin had been questioned or was expected to be questioned.

Erwin could not be reached for comment.
