Police look into possible theft of Dist. 303 superintendent file
An investigation is under way into the possible theft of outgoing St. Charles schools Superintendent Barbara Erwin’s personnel file.
The confidential document was reported missing Tuesday to police by a district official.
Personnel files typically contain performance reviews, medical records, contracts and application materials, among other items.
An internal search to see if the document was misplaced yielded no results. Police are now investigating.
