The Kentucky Board of Education will hold its annual retreat on Wednesday and Thursday, May 9 and 10, at the Holiday Inn University Plaza in Bowling Green.
On Wednesday, the retreat will begin at 9 a.m. CDT with consideration of a motion to ratify the employment contract for the commissioner of education. The leading candidate for the position is Barbara Erwin, Ed.D., whose most recent position was superintendent of Community Unit District 303 in St. Charles, Illinois.
