A man already being held for allegedly offering to pay young boys for sex has also now been charged in an incident that led to a safety alert on EKU's campus earlier this month.
A Madison County judge Wednesday ordered Herbert Hager, 31, to undergo a mental evaluation as a grand jury is set to hear the case against him. Police arrested Hager after they say they received several complaints about him propositioning boys in downtown Richmond. They say all of his victims were younger than 16 years of age.
Investigators now say Hager is also connected to a safety alert issued on Eastern Kentucky University's campus April 3. It was issued when a 12-year-old boy said a man offered him money, cigarettes and drugs in exchange for a 30-minute conversation...
