Webster County's JournalEnterprise.com reports that before a large crowd of Providence parents, teachers, and other interested citizens the Providence Site-Based Council members presented the Webster County Board of Education documentation confirming the legitimacy of the Providence Site-Based Decision-Making Council.
The presentation of the letter stemmed from concern that the Providence SBDM might be declared an invalid public body.
“We were told our site-based (council) is illegal,” Providence Special Education Instructor Tonia Morrow told the Webster County school board. “That is very disheartening.
