JCPS superintendent finalist drops out

The Courier-Journal reports:

A Long Island superintendent who was one of two finalists to lead Jefferson County Public Schools has dropped out. The announcement leaves one finalist for the post being vacated by Superintendent Stephen Daeschner.

Sheldon Berman, 58, has been superintendent for 14 years at Hudson Public Schools in Hudson, Mass., a 2,900-student school district outside Boston.
