Virginia teens charged in plot to kill principal

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports:

Two middle school students face charges of conspiring to murder their principal after one of the students brought a revolver and ammunition to school, according to the Montgomery County sheriffs.

Lt. Brian Wright said authorities learned of the plot, which also involved killing another student and a deputy employed as a student resources officer at Auburn Middle School, after a student overheard at least one of the two boys talking about it.

"We take this seriously, and the fact that we found a gun and ammo means this wasn't just talk," Wright said.
