Principal Uses Pepper Spray

A Hamilton County (TN) administrator is suspended without pay for using pepper spray on students.

Now superintendent Dr. Jim Scales wants assistant principal Joshuah Barber fired for his actions.

This all began back in the spring of this year when the administration learned that Barber used Pepper Spray on students to break up a fight in the hallway.

But, after Barber was told NOT to bring the device back to the building, he did... and used the spray AGAIN in september. And now the superintendent says he's not just spraying students, he's physically abusing them as well. You send your kids to schools like Brainerd High thinking administrators will keep them safe. But what if an adminstrator is the one causing the harm...

...But while Barber admits in [his] statement that he choked a student, he says it's better than what he wanted to do, which was hit him in the face with his fist...
