Christ the King music teacher charged in daughter's death

The Lexington Herald-Leader reported this morning that a local teacher was charged with murder in her daughter's death.

H-L staff writers Delano R. Massey and Shawntaye Hopkins write, "A police investigation, launched on Feb. 21 when [the child] Caleb was admitted to the hospital with a life-threatening injury, led police to the Christ the King School music teacher. Investigators have declined to discuss details leading up to the baby's admittance to the hospital more than a week ago." The Fayette County Coroner's autopsy report indicated the 1-month-old died from blunt-force trauma to the head.
