Over at Page One Kentucky, Jake has been digging into Covington Independent School District's 2010 budget and vendor list and found this...
...A $10,584 expenditure to Pike Street Associates, LLC which apparently belongs to Joe Meyer, the Secretary of Education and Workforce Development.
Page One wonders if Meyer is making $10K annually off the Covington school district and if that is "a gigantic conflict of interest for the Governor’s cabinet secretary of Education to be leasing space to a school district that he essentially oversees..."
Then Jake found another expenditure to Joe's wife Dale Meyer for $6,500 in the budget and writes, "There may be nothing illegal going on here but the appearance of impropriety...is a terrible thing for Kentucky."
