Not sure what else you can ask for from educators these days.<br /><br />Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5776587.post-35424767388630252382013-01-11T15:06:17.076-05:002013-01-11T15:06:17.076-05:00"But how many more shootings must there be in..."But how many more shootings must there be in America before we come to the realization that guns and grievances do not belong together?"<br /><br />Come on Senator Feinstein, your state has more guns in it than most countries armies have. I don't think anyone out there supports dealing with grievances with guns, but humans have been using violence for centuries on both an individual and international level, and sometimes for very justifyable reasons. Throwing all the guns in big incentarator is going to change human nature. This kid could have just as easily stabbed the other guy, run him over with a car, paid another kid to beat him up or maybe even poisoned him. Sad part is it sounds like lots of folks knew the kid was being bullied and it wasn't or couldn't be stopped. Suspending or expelling kids doesn't make them stop being bullies - it just temporarily moves them out one of the victim's environments. Same as with abuses ex spouses who have restraining orders, you can make all the laws you want but if someone has it in their mind they are going to harm someone, there is not much you can do about it, no mater if you are taking about a kid in a small rural school or big time celebrity or government official.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
