I challenge anyone to find a university website which does not show happy clean cut undergrads wearing their greek letters and engaged in some socially acceptable activity. Universities may talk about the liabilities of fraternities but they also use them to recruit underclassmen. You can't have it both ways.<br /><br />I also imagine that if one were to really look closely at campus crime reports, one would find that the university more than has its hands full dealing with thefts, assaults, arson, sexual attacks, etc occurring in their own dorms and classroom buildings through the actions of non greeks. Fraternities simply present larger organizational targets upon which to heap stereotyped misbehavior. Not saying Fraternities are full of a bunch of choirboys, but the rest of campus is just as permeated with deviance and misbehavior by those non aligned but equally a part of the university.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
