Used to be that scoring well in achievement was what we all shot for. Now we have created a system that almost completely devalues academic achievement and dilutes student achievement with things like program reviews and PGES ratings. So what you end up with is an evaluation system which continues to not be comparable to previous assessments and allows low performing schools pad their annual assessment by deemphasize factors which resulted in the failing school designation and adding elements which don't measure student achievement. <br /><br />It is not intentional, its just the ever changing game that we play with assessment.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
