If I were I would have gone at the rest of the piece where he says 8th grade scores on Explore tell whether or not a student is "on track." Talk about dubious interpretations of test data. I take a 28 item, 30 minute, multiple choice, math test and I am either on track or not. Maybe a 14 gets me on but a 13 says I am off. What do I tell the kid?
